Description
Prince William County Public Schools is soliciting one or more contractors under a firm-fixed-price requirement contract to provide as-needed maintenance, repairs, replacement parts, and related services for school-owned wind, percussion, and string instruments. The scope includes technician labor, instrument pickup and delivery, onsite repairs for larger instruments, emergency repairs, bow and case replacement, catalogs and parts pricing, and repair estimates requiring prior approval. Technicians must be directly employed and supervised by the contractor and have at least five years of musical instrument repair experience. Bidders must submit pricing by applicable instrument group and school zone, along with technician qualification evidence, current catalogs or price lists, references, required forms, a completed pricing schedule, and other specified certifications. The resulting contract is intended for as-needed orders, with no guaranteed minimum quantity; the initial term runs from award through January 31, 2032, with one optional five-year renewal period.
