Description
The City of Los Angeles is seeking a quote for one new and unused trailer-mounted, solar-powered, electric dynamic message sign for traffic control. The specified unit is based on the Myers & Sons Hi-way Safety Variable Message Trailer 96L3 and must include a 48-by-27 amber LED matrix, lift-and-rotate trailer, hydraulic or electric lift system, deep-cycle battery storage, solar charging, weather-resistant controls, highway-towing equipment, lighting, safety features, decals, manuals, keys, and related components. Bidders must identify deviations from the specifications and provide technical data, drawings, or printed literature for the equipment quoted. The procurement also includes an optional AGM battery package and a tire fee. The successful supplier must deliver the equipment, provide operator and maintenance training for City personnel, furnish manuals and related documentation, complete local servicing before delivery, and maintain adequate parts and service facilities in Southern California. Delivery is desired within 180 calendar days after receipt of order, with delivery and unloading included to the City's Fleet Services facility.
