Description
Atlantic County is soliciting a contractor to provide professional veterinary services on an as-needed basis for the Atlantic County Animal Shelter. The scope includes spay/neuter surgeries, including early-age procedures; health checks for impounded animals; medical care; oversight and certification of euthanasia training; humane-euthanasia decisions; public rabies clinics; disease-control and prevention recommendations; and timely medical reports. The contractor must maintain appropriate veterinary and controlled-substance licenses, possess a valid veterinary license from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, and have at least three years of full-time veterinary experience. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. Proposals must include a detailed explanation of services, company history, credentials, relevant experience, pricing, and specified certifications and affidavits. The solicitation requires electronic submission through the online bidding system and an electronic signature. Required proposal materials include the pricing form, New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, Iran investment-activities certificate, Russia/Belarus prohibited-activities certification, affirmative-action documentation, notarized Non-Collusion Affidavit, Receipt of Addenda, and proof of insurance. Evaluation will consider qualifications, firm experience, willingness to accept the County contract terms, and cost.
