The City of Asheville is soliciting construction services to demolish existing bulk storage tanks for sodium hypochlorite, fluoride, zinc orthophosphate, and coagulant, then install replacement tanks and related systems. The work includes a 9,500-gallon sodium hypochlorite tank with heat tracing, insulation, and modified secondary containment; fluoride and zinc orthophosphate tanks with piping; and two coagulant tanks with new concrete containment, pumps, piping, heat tracing, and insulation. Driveway paving and curbing are also included. Project drawings and specifications are referenced as Section 4, but are not included in the provided solicitation package.
