Description
This sources-sought notice is market research for a planned renovation of Wards 3 East and 3 West in Building 47. The anticipated construction work includes demolition to structural elements; upgrades or replacement of architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire-protection, telecommunications, and low-voltage systems; asbestos-containing material and lead-based paint abatement; infection-control measures and construction enclosures; and restoration of penetrated fire and smoke barriers by certified firestopping installers. The contractor would provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and management, and coordinate waste removal and material movement. OSHA safety qualifications and compliance with applicable codes are also identified.
