Description
Orange County, through its Department of Health Public Health Nursing Division, seeks a qualified nurse practitioner or professional business entity to provide clinical services at tuberculosis, immunization, sexual health/HIV, and mobile clinics. Services include patient intake and diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, immunizations, infectious-disease care, laboratory-test interpretation, referrals, patient education, confidential-record management, clinic oversight, staff direction, quality-improvement activities, outbreak response, and clinical care on the mobile unit. The successful offeror must meet New York State nurse-practitioner licensure and experience requirements, including a community or family-health specialty, at least 3,600 qualifying hours of experience, prescribing privileges with an NPI number, current CPR and AED certification, and a New York State driver's license. The anticipated initial contract term is two years, with up to two additional one-year renewal terms. Compensation is specified at $100 per hour for clinic services and $50 per hour for approved training, subject to stated weekly and monthly limits.
