Description

The City of Joliet is seeking a single Genetec-certified firm to provide and install access-control and surveillance equipment at Fire Stations 6, 8, and 10, integrating the work with the City's existing Genetec security system. The scope includes access control for 17 standard doors and 11 overhead doors, three external 360-degree cameras at Fire Station 6, and three 360-degree cameras at Fire Station 8. The provided scope does not identify cameras for Fire Station 10. The contractor must provide all equipment required for complete operational systems, including security panels, Mercury controllers and reader-interface panels, Altronix enclosures and power supplies, card readers, door sensors, request-to-exit sensors, electrified door strikes, garage-door contact sensors, composite cabling, and any required conduit or Ethernet cabling. The City’s IT group will configure the doors, access rules, cameras, network addressing, and related system connections after installation.
