Description
Cook County is soliciting pest control services for various county agencies and facilities throughout the county. The scope includes recurring and emergency extermination for insects, rodents, birds, and other pests; pigeon and goose control; drain cleaning and treatment; integrated pest management; inspections, treatment plans, service reports, quarterly reporting, and related documentation. Services include on-site staffing at correctional, juvenile detention, sheriff’s, facilities management, health, transportation, court, and other county locations, with security, identification, licensing, background-check, safety, and facility-access requirements. The contract term is three years with one two-year renewal option. Bidders must submit pricing through the online bid table and upload the required bid package and supporting forms, including a current extermination license, federal identification, site-visit documentation, Economic Disclosure Statement, subcontractor identification form, MBE/WBE utilization documentation or waiver materials, and signed addenda acknowledgments. Mandatory site inspections apply to the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center and Cook County Sheriff’s Department; Addendum No. 2 rescheduled the Sheriff’s Department inspection to September 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Chicago local time.
