Description
The Chesapeake Bay Trust seeks one or more contractors to increase awareness of and engagement with its Community Engagement and Restoration Mini Grant Program among under-engaged audiences and organizations, with a focus on communities of color and the human health sector. Contractors may use virtual or in-person workshops, individual community connectors, email or listserv communications, phone calls, social media, radio, television, and other justified outreach strategies. The Trust will provide program resources to support outreach-material development. The contractor must provide technical assistance to at least eight new applicants, including training on developing eligible project ideas and navigating the online application system. Deliverables include at least eight complete grant applications, a status report, and a final report with an evaluation of methods, deliverables, lessons learned, challenges, and resolutions. Up to two firm-fixed-price awards may be made, with $15,000 available and payment of $1,875 per successful application. Proposals must address the proposed approach, personnel, qualifications, relevant experience, three similar completed projects, references, resumes, a signed and dated IRS Form W-9, and a budget submitted through the online application system. A concise narrative is limited to five pages; resumes, the W-9, and other supporting information may be submitted outside that limit.
