Description
The City seeks construction of 36 disc golf tee boxes at 18 locations in War Memorial Park: one experienced and one intermediate tee at each hole. The work includes preparing and leveling each site, installing southern yellow pine forms, compacted pea gravel, welded-wire reinforcement, and 3,000-PSI concrete with a broom finish. The drawings specify tee-box dimensions of 6 by 12 feet and 6 by 10 feet, with outdoor artificial turf details also shown; the scope text describes concrete tee boxes. The contractor must coordinate construction access with the City project manager before work begins, and heavy equipment access is restricted across much of the site. The contractor must also restore disturbed areas, provide seed and straw, repair damage to cart paths and other site areas, post construction warning signage as needed, and remove construction debris. Bidders must submit a qualifications statement answering the listed questions and complete the online bid table. A signed City contracting certification is required. A bid bond or cashier’s check equal to 5% of the bid is required for bids of $50,000 or more; the bid security must be received by the deadline. The agreement term is 60 calendar days, and the contractor must complete the work within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
