Description
Broward County is conducting a Request for Information to determine whether Samsung container gantry crane parts and related maintenance services are available from multiple suppliers, or whether comparable alternatives exist. The County is considering a sole-source/sole-brand designation for Samsung proprietary parts designed and manufactured by Samsung Heavy Industries. Respondents must indicate whether they can supply the proprietary parts, maintain critical parts, and provide service continuity for the Port Everglades Department. Vendors should submit responses through the electronic procurement system and may include relevant specifications, supporting documentation, or information demonstrating that comparable or higher-quality alternatives are available. This is a market-research notice, not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment.
