Description
The City of Hialeah is seeking a qualified operator to restore, activate, manage, and maintain the batting cage facility at Babcock Park. The selected operator must bring the facility to full operational condition at its own expense, including repairing or replacing non-operational pitching machines, installing safety netting and other safety improvements, providing bats, helmets, and balls, maintaining equipment and facility areas, and operating a point-of-sale system. The operator must provide at least two onsite staff members during operating hours, including technicians, and ensure required Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting for personnel. The scope also includes customer service, marketing, memberships, resident and non-resident pricing, instructional lessons, clinics, youth and special-population programming, community events coordination, incident reporting, and monthly reporting on revenue, attendance, and programming. Independent leagues and camps are prohibited, and subcontracting, subleasing, assignment, and third-party partnerships are prohibited without City approval. The agreement is for an initial three-year term beginning when the City issues a purchase order, with two consecutive one-year renewal options. Responses must include operational, programming, staffing, maintenance, financial-capability, experience, reference, pricing, licensing, and required affidavit materials.
