Description
The City of Clinton Code Enforcement Division is soliciting a contractor for nuisance abatement and cleanup on privately owned properties, securing vacant or unsecured buildings with board-ups, tree and bush trimming, and sidewalk and business-district snow and ice removal. Work is issued by work order and includes specified response times, photographic documentation before and after work, disposal receipts or dump tickets where applicable, and material receipts for reimbursement. Board-up work must meet applicable IPMC standards, use at least 1/2-inch performance-rated OSB, and provide 24/7/365 emergency availability with a 30-minute on-site response requirement. The bid is based on a single hourly rate covering all three primary work types, regardless of crew size or equipment used; approved material costs may be reimbursed at documented actual cost without markup. The contractor must provide required insurance, name the City as an additional insured, maintain required identification and documentation while working, and obtain prior written approval before subcontracting. The solicitation includes a buyer-provided bid sheet and requires a certificate of liability insurance with specified coverage limits.
