Description
The Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) is soliciting proposals for the Pedro Y Tank Replacement Project, which involves the demolition of an existing 420,000-gallon tank and construction of a new bolted steel water storage tank of the same capacity. The project includes site piping, a concrete ringwall foundation, tank details such as roof hatch, handrail, overflow and drain box, and electrical work. The contractor is responsible for all utilities including garbage, electricity, and bathroom facilities, as well as dust control. The tank must conform to AWWA D103 standards, and all materials in contact with potable water must meet NSF-61 standards. The project is located in Sonora, California.
