Description
The contractor must provide all labor, tools, and equipment to install one prefabricated aluminum access ramp assembly at Building 47. The ramp is expected to have an approximately 100-foot length, aluminum deck panels with a nonskid surface, transition landings, safety and grab rails on both sides, closure and hardware kits, transition treads and plates, bridge plates, hurricane tie-down features, stanchion legs, and concrete pilaster pads. The ramp must meet the stated dimensional and slope requirements. The work also includes demolition and removal of the existing ramp systems and disposal of construction-generated waste. Installation and removal must comply with applicable codes and standards, including the VA Barrier Free Design Guide and the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessibility.
