Description
East Baton Rouge Parish School Board is soliciting sealed or electronic bids from general contractors licensed in Louisiana for construction of the Former Broadmoor Middle School Site project, Project No. 920.002. Bids must include bid security equal to 5% of the base bid, including additive alternates. The successful contractor must complete the project within 365 calendar days from the commencement date stated in the agreement or notice to proceed. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 20, 2026. The apparent low bidder must submit specified affidavits and other documents after bid opening. The successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. The project includes a Fair Share Procurement Policy goal of at least 20% participation by minority- and women-owned businesses, and bidders must hold a Louisiana contractor license for the major classification of building construction.
