This construction opportunity covers furnishing and installing an approximately 8-by-110-foot prefabricated pedestrian bridge crossing Monte Sano Bayou at Harding Boulevard. The work also includes demolition of existing bridge structures, channel riprap installation, concrete paving to connect the bridge to existing pathways, and associated miscellaneous construction. The bridge must be a fully engineered steel half-through truss structure with a reinforced-concrete deck, bearings, safety rails, toe plates, rub rails, and related components. The contractor is responsible for foundation and bridge installation activities, site protection, erosion and stormwater controls, required submittals, and compliance with applicable Louisiana licensing requirements. The specifications identify qualified bridge-manufacturer requirements, including at least five years of relevant fabrication experience, current AISC certification, and no brokers.
