Description
The City of Nashua is soliciting bids for the as-needed supply and delivery of B5 biodiesel fuel to the Nashua Transit System. Estimated usage is 10,000 to 20,000 gallons, with deliveries to a 12,500-gallon tank at 11 Riverside Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. The vendor must be capable of tanker-load deliveries and provide deliveries within 24 hours of an authorized telephone request, generally between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The fuel must use premium ultra-low-sulfur No. 2 blend stock, include a cold-weather additive, meet ASTM D6751 and ASTM D975 requirements, and satisfy specified seasonal cloud-point requirements. Bidders must provide a firm delivered price per gallon, identify the actual product proposed, document compliance, and submit vendor information, references, applicable bid forms, and required certifications. The contract includes insurance requirements and federally funded transit provisions.
