Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory is soliciting a firm-fixed-price proposal for one pulse-tube cryocooler assembly for a superconducting radio-frequency accelerator application. The cryocooler must operate at 4.2 K or lower, provide at least 5 W of cooling at 4.2 K and 30 W at 45 K, use a pulse-tube configuration to limit vibration, and meet specified dimensional and power constraints. The quoted assembly must include the cold head, compressor, gas lines, vibration-dampening bellows, instrumentation cables, and power cables. The response must include a formal quote on company letterhead with product descriptions and specifications, the completed RFP form, the completed Subcontractor Annual Representations and Certifications form, and the completed Proposal Certifications form. The buyer intends to make a best-value award based on the lowest price among technically acceptable, responsible offerors and may award without discussions.
