Description
Western University is requesting quotations from qualified electrical-supply vendors for a broad range of Facilities Management Stores inventory. The requested products include brand-specific and equivalent electrical supplies such as cable ties, wire, conduit, raceway, connectors, fittings, boxes, receptacles, switches, ballasts, fuses, fire-alarm and smoke-detection components, LED drivers, motors, and related hardware. The pricing worksheet includes a basket of approximately 100 high-use items and additional inventory items, with pricing requested for Years 1, 2, and 3. Substitutions may be proposed only with detailed equivalency information and supporting specifications. The supplier must support Western's campus and departments with competitive pricing, high order-fulfillment rates, delivery at least three times per week, and the ability to provide same-day or 24-hour turnaround for high-use or emergency orders where required. Deliveries must be made to locations specified by Western, including campus worksites, with freight included in pricing. The response must address product availability, delivery, customer support, training, returns and warranty handling, accessibility, sustainability, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements. The agreement is planned for a three-year term with up to two additional one-year extensions, and Western estimates annual spending of approximately CAD 175,000 without guaranteeing volume or exclusivity.
