Description
The City of Rome seeks a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for exterior painting at its Transit Department facility. Work includes painted masonry and stucco, metal building panels and components, doors and frames, awnings, trim, gutters, railings, bollards, and other painted exterior surfaces. The contractor must prepare surfaces, remove failed coatings and contaminants, repair and prime as appropriate, apply commercial-grade exterior coatings, and obtain City approval of products and colors before work begins. The contractor must protect adjacent property and maintain safe, accessible routes and transit operations during the work. The scope also includes debris disposal, daily cleanup, coordination of work times, a final walkthrough and punch-list corrections, and a written workmanship warranty. The quote form requests a lump-sum price, anticipated start and completion dates, and the number of calendar days required. The contractor must provide product data and color information before work begins; insurance requirements apply, with some coverage documentation due after award and before work begins.
