Description
Hennepin County seeks a contractor to enhance 42.8 acres of oak forest and woodland-brushland at Birch Island Woods and Conservation Area. The work includes forest and brush management and related restoration activities; the attached wage-task reference describes applicable work such as brush and tree removal, invasive plant removal, herbicide application, site preparation, seeding, and trail clearing. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, and the awarded contractor must submit certified payroll through LCPtracker. Bidders must enter their total project price in the online event, attach a completed references form identifying two customers for substantially similar work performed within the past two years, and attach a herbicide applicator's license. The bid also requires responses confirming that prices include all performance costs and that the bidder understands the prevailing-wage and payroll-reporting requirements. A virtual pre-bid and an optional site visit are scheduled; the site visit requires an RSVP. Bid security and performance and payment bonds are not required.
