Description
The City seeks a consultant to provide on-call construction material testing to verify compliance with specifications and support construction quality assurance. Testing includes concrete, asphalt, and soils, with field and laboratory work such as concrete sampling and compression tests, asphalt coring and mixture tests, soil classification, and moisture and density testing. The scope also includes consulting and third-party evaluations of existing or proposed construction features, potentially including pavements and retaining walls related to street, sidewalk, trail, and drainage projects. The selected vendor must provide timely test results, monthly reports, qualified and properly licensed personnel, and appropriate insurance. The contract term is one year, with up to two additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement.
