Description
This Request for Information seeks market intelligence on volumetric modular, kit-of-parts, 3D-printed, and hybrid industrialized construction approaches for permanent child development centers at multiple military installations. The forecasted projects include new centers ranging from approximately 26,900 to 54,000 square feet, outdoor play areas, supporting site and utility work, and associated building systems; some projects also include demolition of existing buildings. Respondents should describe whether their systems are compatible as-is, require modifications, or should be replaced by an alternative approach, and address performance considerations such as schedule, cost, child safety, durability, energy use, scalability, installation impacts, and compliance. Respondents must complete the linked market-intelligence survey and submit a capability statement in PDF format, single-spaced, using at least 11-point font. The statement should cover corporate capabilities and experience, commercial practices, pricing and schedules, supply chain and logistics, and detailed responses to questions about childcare construction, collaborative delivery, subcontractor relationships, and coordination of structural, envelope, and utility systems. This is an information-gathering notice, not a commitment to issue a future solicitation.
