Description
The City of Omaha is seeking a contractor to perform interior painting at the Mockingbird Community Center gymnasium. The work includes painting walls, ceilings, exposed ceiling deck and joists, overhead ductwork, hollow metal doors and frames, and related surfaces. The contractor must remove and reinstall gym equipment, protect existing facilities, prepare surfaces, apply specified primer and finish systems, and provide maintenance materials and product submittals, including product data, color samples, manufacturer instructions, maintenance data, and extra paint. The project requires a minimum of three years of relevant painting experience, a pre-painting conference, electronic bid submission, bid security, insurance documentation, and compliance forms. The work must be completed by December 31, 2026, subject to the stated notice-to-proceed adjustment. A 100% Small and Emerging Small Business reserve applies to the total bid amount for eligible ESB and SB Tier 1 and Tier 2 participants.
