Description
The State of Wyoming seeks stand-alone bids for wide-area network services at one or more educational circuit locations, connecting each location to a district hub in a spoke-and-hub configuration or to the State Unified Network Core. The attached spreadsheet identifies the circuit location and hub endpoint. Bidders may offer capacities of 10 Mbps, 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 1 Gbps, or 10 Gbps. Services must support Ethernet and provide IP Layer 3 or Ethernet Layer 2 over 802.1Q VLANs, pass tagged and untagged frames, support frames up to 1,522 bytes without fragmentation, and accommodate at least 10,000 unique MAC addresses per A-end location. The service must be intrastate under the FCC 10% rule, and the handoff must meet one of the listed Ethernet standards. Bids must include all service costs, and bidders must agree to the attached E-Rate Bid Narrative. The State may renew existing circuits, procure new circuits, or make no procurement, depending on the bids and its needs.
