Description
Lincoln Electric System is soliciting bids to manufacture and furnish specified quantities of 15 kV aluminum underground distribution cable for delivery to two utility locations. The requirements include multiple conductor sizes and configurations, including 1/0, 3/0, and 1000 MCM cable with tree-retardant cross-linked polyethylene insulation, concentric neutral, and LLDPE outer jackets, as specified in the bid documents. Bidders may offer split or bundled pricing and must identify lead time, manufacturer and plant locations, exceptions to specifications, and applicable engineering specifications. The submission must include completed bid return and signature materials, engineering specifications, manufacturer experience and service information, and required cable qualification and periodic extrusion test reports when applicable. The successful bidder must also return a completed Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form and furnish the cable FOB Lincoln, Nebraska.
