Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center requires replacement of obsolete Mircom PRO-2000XS fire alarm panels aboard USCGC Paul Clark and USCGC Richard Etheridge with Salwico Consilium Model 5831813-00A systems and associated components. The requirement is brand-name only, with no equal or alternate part accepted, and the contractor must be an authorized Salwico Consilium dealer with OEM verification. The scope includes providing all materials, parts, labor, tools, software, testing equipment, engineering services, and a qualified technical representative; developing a draft installation drawing and plan; removing the existing systems; installing and integrating the replacement fire detection systems with vessel machinery control and monitoring systems; testing all interfacing components; and delivering final drawings, parts lists, testing documentation, and related electronic configuration files. Relevant maritime fire-detection experience, technical capability, past performance, OEM authorization, and the ability to meet the required schedule will be evaluated. Restricted technical drawings require active Joint Certification Program certification.
