Description
The Appomattox River Water Authority and South Central Wastewater Authority are soliciting professional engineering services for water and wastewater plant operations and related infrastructure. Work will be assigned on an as-needed, individual-project basis and may include new and rehabilitated water and wastewater lines, pump stations, concrete tanks and appurtenances, treatment plant work, treatment process design and optimization, surveying, geotechnical services, permitting support, preliminary and final design, bidding assistance, construction administration, inspections, change orders, record drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals. The authorities may award contracts to multiple firms. Offerors must demonstrate relevant qualifications, personnel experience and education, municipal and water/wastewater experience, project management capabilities, quality-management practices, and the ability to respond to project sites within 24 hours. Proposals must include approximately five relevant client references, key-personnel resumes, specified revenue information, a quality-management response, and a signed Signature Sheet. The initial contract term is three years, with two successive one-year renewal options.
