Description
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires information regarding companies that can provide scheduled, direct, non-stop air transportation services. These services will involve transporting designated federal responders, their luggage, and necessary equipment via large passenger aircraft (up to 350 passengers) from Honolulu, Hawaii (HNL) to Guam (GUM) and American Samoa (PPG). These flights are critical for disaster response operations, particularly following typhoons or severe weather events, and must depart on time to ensure prompt arrival of responders. The contractor must provide aircraft registered in the United States, capable of completing the journey without unscheduled maintenance, and ensure sufficient, qualified cockpit crew members. Substitute aircraft and crew must be available within 4 hours if the original flight is canceled due to operational issues. The flights will utilize designated commercial airport terminals, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and best commercial practices.
