Description
The City seeks an annual agreement to install and maintain sodium hypochlorite storage and feed systems at four swimming pools and one splash pool. The scope includes site-specific, double-wall or sleeved chemical-resistant tanks with secondary containment, metering pumps and injection points, manifolds and protected tubing, two backup pumps, and weekly delivery of liquid chlorine at a minimum 10% concentration. The contractor must install new tubing and fittings annually and inspect the lines, fittings, and pumps with each tank fill. Installation must comply with applicable Iowa pool-code and safety requirements, and be completed by April 15 of each contract year. Pricing is requested per gallon and must include installation, labor, equipment, materials, maintenance, repairs, and replacement parts. The initial contract term is April 8, 2027, through April 7, 2028, with up to five additional one-year extensions. The response must be submitted through the electronic bidding system; email, fax, mail, and hand delivery are not accepted.
