Description
Crowder College is soliciting proposals for the purchase, delivery, implementation, and support of one Storage Area Network (SAN) solution for instructional virtualization and educational computing environments. The solution must provide at least 12 TB of usable storage configured with RAID 5 or RAID 6, be expandable to at least 24 TB without replacing the storage array, support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V, and include snapshots or equivalent point-in-time recovery capabilities. The solution must provide dual 10 Gb network connectivity, web-based management with monitoring and reporting, compatibility with standard 19-inch equipment racks, required hardware, software, licensing, accessories, installation and configuration documentation, and a minimum three-year manufacturer warranty with technical support. Initial implementation pricing and all required services must be included in the proposal. Evaluation will consider price, performance, capacity, ease of management, scalability, and warranty and support.
