Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capability information from qualified firms for a potential one-time, firm-fixed-price construction contract to replace the existing perimeter security fence, replace a gate, and automate Gates 1 through 8 at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks. The contractor would furnish all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and related services necessary to complete the phased, turnkey project while the medical center remains operational. The work includes mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, communications, civil/site, electronic security and access-control, utility coordination, surveying, and subsurface utility engineering activities. Work must comply with applicable OSHA, NFPA, ICRA, life-safety, and other federal, state, and local requirements, with strict controls for healthcare-facility access, safety, dust, noise, utility interruptions, and construction debris. The anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days, and respondents must provide a capability statement, relevant project references for three recent projects, firm and registration information, and confirmation of the ability to obtain performance and payment bonds up to $10 million. Responses are limited to three pages.
