Description
The University of Mississippi is requesting sealed qualification submittals from design firms for Insight Park Research Buildings. The scope includes master planning for a complete multiphase research-park concept and full design and construction services for the first prototype building, anticipated to be a new 10,000-square-foot research facility. The selected firm will work with representatives of the Department of Facilities Planning and may propose subconsultants, although the intended contract is a single modified AIA Document B101-2017 Owner-Architect Agreement. Submittals are evaluated on company overview and professional credentials, relevant firm experience and up to six project profiles, key project personnel and organization, and a completed M55 Architect-Engineer Related Services for Specific Project Questionnaire. The qualifications package is limited to 40 single-sided 8.5-by-11-inch pages, including the letter of interest and supporting materials, and must be spiral bound rather than placed in binders or stapled. Firms must provide two printed originals of the supporting information and include owner references for three projects. Final applications must be received in a sealed, properly identified envelope by the stated deadline.
