Description
The City of Dalton is soliciting proposals for the resurfacing of 10 existing courts at its public tennis and pickleball facility at Lakeshore Park. The scope includes crack repair, surface preparation, resurfacing, striping, and all related work, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to deliver the completed facility. The project documents identify the courts as the top-left four and bottom six courts within a 20-court complex. Proposals will be evaluated based on resurfacing cost of ownership, application, player safety, warranty, maintenance, total contract price, contractor qualifications and certifications, relevant experience and references, and proposal completeness. The solicitation requires a completed vendor packet, proposal form, bidder's declaration, addenda acknowledgment, references for at least three comparable projects, and proof of liability and workers' compensation insurance submitted with the proposal. The selected contractor must begin physical work within 10 days after receiving a notice to proceed and complete the work within the required contract time; no specific completion date is stated.
