Description
The Audubon Commission seeks a supplier to provide and deliver live feeder worms and insects for animal-care operations at Audubon Nature Institute facilities. Requested products include waxworms, mealworms, nightcrawlers, superworms, hornworms, fruit flies, blow fly pupae, and flesh fly pupae, with specified pack sizes and recurring delivery quantities across multiple facilities. Bidders must provide pricing and complete a delivery response addressing fulfillment locations, delivery timeframes, shipping methods, order-status communications, severe-weather procedures, packaging and temperature control, inspection and acceptance, replacement and shortage procedures, and performance commitments. Suppliers must be primarily engaged in the insect business and have at least two years of experience. The contract is for one year, with up to two additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement; awards may be made to one or multiple suppliers by insect group or item.
