Description
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, through the Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities, is soliciting a contractor to provide janitorial services for a 1,852-square-foot, one-story office. Services are required Monday through Friday after 5:00 PM and include trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, floor care, restroom cleaning and disinfection, glass and blind cleaning, replenishment of paper products and hand soap, and periodic carpet shampooing and floor refinishing. The contractor must furnish labor, commercial-quality equipment, cleaning supplies, consumables, heavy-duty trash liners, air fresheners, and EPA-registered disinfectants. The initial contract term is one year, beginning on the effective date or November 1, 2026, whichever is later, with up to two additional one-year renewal terms. A representative must attend the mandatory site visit, and bids must be submitted electronically through the State's electronic Vendor Portal. The solicitation requires completion and submission of the execution pages, applicable addenda receipts, vendor response, pricing attachment, worker-location attachment, federal-grant certification, and lobbying disclosure attachment.
