Description
The City of Homestead is seeking a qualified crane service company to provide a 350-ton all-terrain hydraulic crane, certified crane operator, qualified oiler, approximately 206,000 pounds of counterweight, an 8-foot spreader bar, required rigging, transportation, setup, inspections, and demobilization. The proposed configuration must safely lift at least 14,000 pounds at a 155-foot working radius, with a main boom of approximately 193 to 210 feet. The scope covers two operations at Losner Park: installation and positioning of a temporary chiller on November 12, 2026, and removal on January 11, 2027. The contractor must provide lift planning and engineering support, coordinate Maintenance of Traffic measures and road closures on West Mowry Drive, obtain applicable permits, provide traffic-control documentation and equipment as required, and coordinate with the chiller supplier and other project representatives. Bidders must submit pricing for both lump-sum crane operations, a written proposal addressing equipment, personnel, availability, responsibilities, durations, exclusions, and additional charges, along with required licensing, registration, insurance certificates, and qualifications.
