Description
Westfield-Washington Schools seeks symmetrical Internet access and data transmission services at approximately 8 Gbps, scalable to approximately 10 Gbps, with guaranteed throughput to the district's head-end. The selected provider must supply approximately 30 public IPv4 addresses, offer pricing in approximately 1 Gbps increments, and provide optional IPv6 pricing. The scope includes provider-owned onsite handoff equipment, preferably an LC Fiber handoff, pathway information, and any applicable installation or special construction. DDoS protection and mitigation must be separately itemized as an ineligible service. Proposals must include complete recurring and nonrecurring pricing, a proposed SLA addressing 99.99% network availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, two-hour diagnosis, four-hour temporary or permanent repair, chronic-trouble remedies, and service reporting. Respondents must also provide a service description and construction timeline, three similar-service references, an E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. The anticipated contract is for three years with up to two optional voluntary one-year extensions.
