Gladstone School District 115 is soliciting proposals for Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) services for the seismic rehabilitation of the John Wetten Elementary School gymnasium. The project aims to strengthen the wood-framed structure to achieve an 'Immediate Occupancy' performance level per ASCE 41-17. The scope includes wall and roof strengthening, bracing installation, and related improvements. The contractor will be responsible for preconstruction services, including constructability reviews, value engineering, cost estimation, and scheduling, as well as construction management and general contracting. The project is funded in part by Oregon's Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program (SRGP). The selected firm will collaborate with the district and its engineer, ZCS Engineering, to deliver the project within a tight summer schedule.
