Description
Hampton School District 29 is seeking a third-party provider for Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS), including managed Wi-Fi and continuous operation, management, and monitoring of eligible internal broadband connection components. The scope includes 24/7/365 remote network monitoring, proactive issue resolution, configuration backups, network optimization, remote administration, system-health reporting, LAN/WLAN diagnostics and repair, helpdesk support, professional installation, activation, initial configuration, analytics, and infrastructure recommendations. Bidders must provide itemized eligible and ineligible costs, identify monthly or annual management fees per eligible device, explain whether services apply to district-owned equipment or a vendor-owned leased-service model, and separately price monitoring of ineligible end-user devices. Proposals must include a scope of work for installation services, required hardware and licenses where applicable, and separate one-, two-, and three-year pricing options. The district prefers an all-inclusive solution and will evaluate price of eligible services as the primary factor, along with technical capability, relevant experience, E-Rate compliance, and proximity of the vendor's closest service center. The contract is expected to commence July 1, 2027.
