Description
The contractor will refurbish 12 G5391 and 12 G5392 rotary forge hammers to the provided drawings and welding procedure. Work includes removing existing hardfacing, preparing and welding the hammer surfaces, thermal stress relief before and after welding, crack evaluation, finish machining to the specified dimensions, modifying the clamping surfaces, and replacing the engraving. The seating surfaces must be flat, and the hammers must be returned on the supplied pallets. Pricing must include shipping and be provided by lot and per piece, along with the maximum lot size, minimum lot charge, and turnaround time. A certificate of conformance is required for each set of hammers. The stated period of performance is December 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027.
