Description
The Defense Logistics Agency intends to issue a five-year, long-term sole-source contract effort covering 13 National Stock Numbers and Federal Stock Classes for commercial aircraft components supporting the F/A-18 A/D, E-2/C-2, P-8, and C-130 platforms. The attached schedule identifies valves, control-tube assemblies, valve housings, propeller blades and hubs, propeller-control components, pump housings, and electromechanical actuators, with quantities listed across five contract years. The proposed action anticipates multiple firm-fixed-price contracts using FAR Part 12 procedures. The intended sources are Collins Aerospace-affiliated CAGEs, including 73030 and 99551, because the Government lacks sufficient technical data to purchase the parts from another source. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may submit capability information or proposals for consideration; letters expressing subcontracting interest may be forwarded to the identified original equipment manufacturer. A letter RFP is anticipated, and the contracting officer should be contacted to obtain it when available.
