Description
Mobile County seeks a contractor to provide labor, materials, and post-disaster debris removal services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including the Robert T. Stafford Act and FEMA Public Assistance rules. Bidders must submit the provided bid forms with a $10,000 cashier’s check or bidder’s bond and include proof of ability to secure the required payment and performance bond. The successful contractor must provide a $1,000,000 payment and performance bond at contract execution and a bond equal to 100% of the estimated contract cost before activation after a disaster. The advertisement also states that a certificate of insurance is due at contract execution and that bidders must hold the required Alabama general contractor license.
