Description
Kern County is soliciting a lump-sum construction bid for asphalt pavement rehabilitation on the south portion of the Public Health parking lot, slurry seal work on the north portion, and striping throughout both portions. The work must be completed within seven working days after contract commencement. The required contractor license classification is California A or C-12, and joint ventures must obtain a joint venture license before award. Prevailing-wage requirements apply. The estimated bid value is $82,000. Bidders must submit the specified bid forms and certifications, provide a 10% bid bond, and comply with the required 100% payment and performance bonds and insurance provisions. The response format is paper, and the bid must be submitted as a sealed paper proposal. Liquidated damages are $1,000 per calendar day.
