Clark County is soliciting bids for a prevailing-wage public works project to demolish and completely replace the Indian Springs Park baseball field irrigation system. The scope includes the backflow preventer, pump, pump enclosure, concrete pad, mainline and lateral piping, irrigation controller, valves, rotors, emitters, and associated equipment. The contractor must repair grass and infield areas damaged or trenched during construction and protect existing grass, trees, and facilities that remain. The bid includes an additive alternate for replacing the entire ballfield with sod. The estimated project cost is $676,400 to $712,000. Required submission materials include the bidder's statement of authority, bid bond, completed 5% subcontractor list, and, when applicable, a valid Certificate of Eligibility and related preference-eligibility affidavit. The three apparent low bidders must submit the 1% subcontractor designation within two business hours after bid opening; the Disclosure of Ownership/Principals Form is required only upon County request after notification as the lowest bidder.
