Description
The City seeks qualified consulting firms to provide on-call professional airport engineering and construction management services on an as-needed basis. Potential work includes airport planning and preliminary engineering; design, plans, specifications, and cost estimates; bidding support; and construction-phase services such as resident engineering, inspection, project management, and reporting. Contemplated projects include runway and taxiway rehabilitation or construction, apron and fuel-farm development, drainage work, obstruction removal, and related airport improvements. The City plans to award five-year contract(s), subject to annual review. Work is dependent on grant funding and City approval, and fees will be negotiated by project or task order. Statements of qualifications are limited to 20 pages, excluding cover letters or letters of transmittal containing introductory language only. Responses must include a cover letter and the firm's qualifications and relevant experience, key personnel qualifications and responsibilities, comparable client and project references with contact details, and evidence of the firm's ability to meet schedules and manage budgets. Cost or fee information must not be included.
