Description
Montgomery College is seeking one or more contractors to develop and deliver safe, developmentally appropriate youth courses for children ages 6–17. Programs may be offered year-round, during spring, summer, or fall, and may be online or in person. Proposed offerings may cover arts and creative expression; technology, computer science, and digital literacy; STEM and STEAM; career exploration; languages and communication; social sciences and humanities; life skills; culinary and hospitality; trades and applied technologies; recreation and enrichment; animal and environmental studies; and health and human services. Innovative and interdisciplinary programs are also encouraged. Contractors must provide course descriptions, lesson plans, materials lists, age groups, hours, course length, instructional methods, qualified adult instructional staff, appropriate supervision, safety and behavior-management procedures, accommodations for individuals with disabilities, required background and health checks, and program administration. The initial contract term is one year from award, with four additional one-year renewal options. Proposals must include separate technical and price proposals, references, qualifications, applicable certifications and licenses, insurance evidence, and the required solicitation attachments. The solicitation requires commercial general liability coverage of $2,000,000 per occurrence, workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance as required by Maryland law, property-damage liability coverage of $2,000,000 per accident, and automobile liability coverage when applicable.
