Description
The City of Wasco Department of Public Works is soliciting sealed bids for rehabilitation of Filburn Avenue. The work includes sawcutting, grading, compaction, pavement tie-ins, asphalt paving, grinding, installation of street signs, striping, and related work required by the plans, standard specifications, and special provisions. Bids must be submitted on the City’s Bid Proposal form and accompanied by bidder’s security equal to at least 10% of the bid amount. The awarded contractor must provide a 100% faithful performance bond and a 100% payment bond. Bidders must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, hold a City business license, and possess a Class A contractor license at the time of award. The project is subject to Buy America requirements and prevailing-wage requirements.
