Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a future acquisition to replace end-of-life IV compounding equipment and maintain continuity of service. The anticipated requirement includes two new BD IV Prep gravimetric compounding units, BD CATO software subscriptions and connectivity, installation and setup, implementation planning, acceptance testing, preventive maintenance, technical support, software update notifications, and applicable replacement parts and consumables. The equipment is intended for hazardous IV medication compounding, and the contractor must be an OEM-authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller; gray-market items are not acceptable. The draft statement of work describes a base year plus four one-year option periods. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or an offer opportunity; interested sources are asked to provide a capabilities statement and answers to the notice’s business, authorization, compliance, contract-vehicle, and general-pricing questions. The notice states that any future solicitation must be answered separately.
